The Marketing Specialist uses professional marketing and communications skills towork on projects that communicate the RAP difference. The marketing specialist works closely with the marketing team, Business Development, IT, Project Managers, Graphic Designers and other personnel to develop and deliver a consistent and accurate marketing communications message to target audiences.
Write copy for print and digital content such as websites, collateral, social media, case studies and presentations.
Develop and organize content for presentations and corresponding collateral.
Use marketing plans to implement marketing and communications initiatives in scope, on time, and within budget.
Proofread, cross-check and/or edit written and visual communications for marketing, business development and custom programs.
Conduct competitive research and maintain product and/or competitive information.
Participate in the development of RFP response/proposals and processes.
Use technology to retrieve and refine data in support of pitch and proposal requests.
Participate in the development, creation and production of all marketing materials.
Maintain print or digital assets and collateral in designated/centralized file system (brochures, proposal language, boilerplates, PR, client lists, awards, pre-show marketing, Prezi files and accolades).
Coordinate PR and outreach materials/events throughout RAPs market regions.
Participate in the creation, production and distribution of rollout communications for program updates, product enhancements, direct marketing programs and sales tools.
Accept and attend all scheduled meetings.
Interact with and work collaboratively with other RAP departments and teams to complete deliverables.
Work with clients, media, marketing, industry professionals and advertising groups as assigned.
Ensure the proper use of logos and brand guidelines.
Contribute to marketing plans, timelines and budgets.
Prepare marketing notes at the end of each work week.
Assist in financial
Responsibilities: estimating, billing, reporting and invoicing for marketing fees and expenses, cooperative advertising requests and documentation as needed.
Manage daily tasks, media scheduling, and trafficking of project.
Proofread, cross-check and/or edit written and visual communications for marketing, business development and custom programs.
Other duties assigned, related or not to marketing.
Specific Qualification for the role includes:
Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of experience and strong portfolio of work samples.
Successful project experience with marketing and communications strategies and tactics.
A cohesive communications mix of presentations, print, social media, video and PR.
Strong writer with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
Ability to translate complex findings into easily digestible content.
Act as a self-starter who is well organized with the ability to multitask.
Problem solver with an investigative mentality and a proactive nature.
Ability to make things happen with limited direction on short timeframes.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Collaborate well with others and thrive in a client-focused team environment.
Handle stress with grace and tact and possess an excellent sense of humor.
Possess inductive reasoning and proficiency in market research and analysis.
Understand principles of sales and marketing and its strategy and tactics.
Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Office Suite.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
