Property Manager, Bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities:
o Collect rents and handle delinquent accounts
o Record and make rent deposits
o Process invoices for payment
o Maintain records, reports, petty cash reports
o Prepare general property correspondence
o Identifies and addresses issues associated with a supervisory position.
o Hires, trains, coaches, and evaluates site employees.
o Provides staff with direction, guidance to perform well
o Plans and schedules work in advance
o Performs duties to attain the highest levels of resident service
o Responds promptly to employees/customers' needs and concerns
o Determines needs of customers and deals with Residents in a tactful, diplomatic and courteous manner
o Plans regular residents activities
o Prepares and follows guidelines of community operating budget, and makes recommendations for ways to maximize income and minimize expenses
o Performs variety of duties associated with leasing, advertising marketing and community functions
o Schedule repairs and maintenance with in-house team
o List homes for sale, show to prospective buyers, negotiate sales contracts
o Advertise properties available for sale
o Develop and implement marketing plan; understand local market and competition
o Supervise staff
Experience &
Qualifications:
o 5
years' management experience from within property management, hospitality or big box retail store is required
o Supervising staff including Administrators and Maintenance personnel
o Strong resident relations and sales capabilities
o Project management, problem solving and leasing
o Good verbal and written communication skills
o Excellent planning (events, promotions, etc.,)and organizational skills as well as
o Yardi software a plus
o Valid driver's license is required
o Bi-lingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred
Salary: $45,000-$50,000 DoE plus Comprehensive benefits package; Sales commission potential of $4k per month. Free housing and paid utilities available.
