Wholesale Picker Packer

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Wholesale Picker Packer picks and packs merchandise for shipment and prepares all necessary paperwork. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
Pick products according to order, either manually or with electronic scanning devices
Lifts, stacks and arranges product on a pallet in preparation for shipment
Generates labels and prepares paperwork necessary for order shipment
Personal responsibility for following safety rules and SOPs guidelines
Maintains a clean and orderly work area
Performs other duties as assigned
Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Ability to write simple correspondence
Basic computer skills.
Basic mathematical skills
Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
Standing for extended periods of time.
Regularly lifting up to 40 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 70 pounds with assistance.
Able to walk, bend, lift, twist and reach with hands and arms.
Maneuver pallet jack with load up to 1200 lbs.
