Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of materials received against packing lists and purchase orders.
Unload and store materials in designated warehouse locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment.
Maintain organized and clean warehouse space, ensuring that aisles and storage areas are clear and accessible.
Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling materials according to customer orders and shipping requirements.
Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
Assist in conducting periodic physical inventory audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies as needed.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to prioritize and fulfill urgent orders or special requests.
Utilize computer systems or inventory management software to track inventory movements, update inventory records, and generate reports as required.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse processes and optimize productivity.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management or supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software or systems.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for certain positions.
