Responsibilities The Gigafactory Nevada Rotational People Internship is for students who want to gain meaningful experience across a range of HR teams based in Sparks, Nevada. Candidates must be self-starters who are strong communicators, learn extremely quickly and collaborate well with diverse stakeholders across multiple HR functions. The program includes 3 rotations over 1-year starting this Summer, May 2024:
Manufacturing Recruitment:
For this rotation, the intern will be immersed in full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing candidates and the interview/hiring process. The intern will participate in hiring events, conducting phone/in-person interviews and tracking candidates in an applicant tracker system. At the end of the rotation, the intern will be responsible for researching and presenting a project to the team. People Development:
This rotation will partner with various areas of HR, recruiting, functional training, learning & development and other key stakeholders throughout the organization that work in conjunction to create the Tesla New Hire Onboarding experience. The intern will also facilitate new hire orientations and conduct both in-person and virtual professional development training sessions. Human Resources:
As a Human Resources intern at Tesla, you will be a vital member of the HR team and drive Tesla's mission by collaborating with employees across the organization. This hands-on and strategic role will provide you with a unique opportunity to gain expertise in a variety of HR-related areas:
I-9s, policy compliance, employee engagement, data reporting, responding to employee inquiries and handling ad hoc projects as needed. You will work closely with one or two HR partners to support their efforts and help ensure that Tesla's employees are engaged, productive and satisfied. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's student working towards a Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Communications or Business Available for a 1-year internship from Summer 2024 - Spring 2025 Available to work 40 hours per week during Summer, with the potential need to work over-time. Schedule part-time to full-time schedule during Fall and Spring depending on class schedule Ability to balance both school and internship Demonstrate strong ability to embrace and adapt to change, take initiative and showcase curiosity, learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Self-starter who are results oriented, resourceful, analytical, innovative, intellectually curious and who take initiative and risks Strong communicator, both written and verbal Experience with and proficient in Microsoft office tools/programs, such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc. Previous work experience or internships in related field is a plus Experience in event planning and project management is a plus Compensation and Benefits Benefits As a full-time Tesla Intern, you will be eligible for:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
