Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, the Lead Wholesale Picker Packer is responsible for assisting the supervisor on a daily basis. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
Manages the department in the absence of the supervisor and/or manager
Picks products according to order, either manually or with electronic scanning devices
Lifts, stacks and arranges product on a pallet in preparation for shipment
Generates labels and prepares paperwork necessary for order shipment
Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOP?s and cGMP guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned
Prior warehousing experience required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Ability to write simple correspondence
Basic computer skills
Basic mathematical skills
Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc within a warehouse environment
